Arionte Arte Contemporanea presented Pyros: Fuoco e Materia, a solo exhibition by Jean Boghossian, curated by Giacomo Fanale, in Catania, Sicily.
In this body of work, Boghossian continued his profound exploration of fire as both material and language. Through processes of combustion, layering, and transformation, matter became a site of memory and inscription, shaped by the artist’s distinctive engagement with flame.
Rooted in an ongoing dialogue between creation and metamorphosis, the works shown in Pyros: Fuoco e Materiareflected a deeply physical and symbolic relationship to material, where fire served as a tool for writing, erosion, and renewal.
The exhibition opened on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in the presence of the artist, and unveiled a diverse selection of works ranging from paintings to artist books, presented during the vernissage.
Pyros: Fuoco e Materia was is view until March 1, 2026, at Arionte Arte Contemporanea, Via Vittorio Emanuele II, 120, Catania, Sicily.
